Below is a pear deck I created from an already existing Ecology lesson slide presentation.

I love the ability to have the students be interactive with the lesson in a new way. I think this will be a great way for even some of the quieter kids to participate with out feeling as nervous. I also like the idea of being able to save the data from the lesson to be used for formative assessments.
The only down side that I discovered with Pear deck is that it does not like to have to many images in the presentation. This is a disappointment for me because I like to use a lot of images to help "show" what we are talking about as well as to use for questions to check for understanding.

Love it. I would recommend trying to implement some questions or write-on responses to allow your students to interact more with this. Hope your summer is going well!!!
