HOW TO CONVERT UNITS USING DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS!!
In 7th grade we start teaching students how to convert units using dimensional analysis. This is a new way for them to use math in changing units, and is often a struggle at first. Providing the students some videos to support what we have done in class on how to do this is helpful.
Reflect:
I can see how using blogs could be useful for allowing students easy access to assignments and other tools to support different lessons. It could also be helpful in keeping parents up-to-date on class happenings.
I already see how helpful blogging is with our district 7th grade blog site. This site allows us to share helpful tools for the class. It is so much easier to share on one site so that everyone has easy access which makes collaboration across the district much easier.
Funny that you commented on the District grade level PCL blog too. I felt that it too was the best use of the blog tool. Blogger is definitely more robust that google classroom but I dont see me switching to blogger as my classroom site. Do you?
ReplyDeleteFor use in my classroom I like Google Classroom much better and will continue to use it next year. It is a quick and easy way to get information out to the students. I also like that they can send me a question, but I am the only one to see it if I want. That makes it much easier to monitor comments.
